Everything happens for a reason, but there is no exact reason for why it happens.


I was just minding my own business, taking a jog. I stopped to rest at a water fountain. I took a long swig of water, when I heard a WHOOSH. I look behind me. A man stood there smiling at me. "Hi there," he cackled. I raised an eyebrow. "Not a big talker are yah lad?" he muses with a creepy, and toothy, smile. I say nothing. I was staring at his appearance, his outfit bright orange on the left side, and dark red on the right side; his hair, shockingly white for someone his age, whatever it is. He seemed oddly familiar, but his image never clicked in my head. "I'm in the mood for some fun today, lucky you." he giggled. I then noticed the huge inscribed staff in his hands. I stare in shock as he points it at me, shouts in some ancient language, and a red ball of light hits me. "Have fun with your new life, and don't forget to thank me, Sheogorath." He cackles like a madman and disappears in a puff of red smoke. I think to my self, "The heck was that all about?"

Suddenly, my left hand is gone, then my left leg, then my right hand. My whole body is disappearing one piece at a time. The last thought before I passed out was, "What did that guy do to me?"



"Applejack, Macintosh," Applebloom races to her siblings, "I saw lights flashing in the barn." "Are ya sure, sugercube?" Applejack asks. "Yes, come quick!" Applebloom dashes off towards the barn. "What do ya say Big Mac?" Applejack asks, "Should we see what it is?" "Eeyup" the crimson stallion replied.  The three siblings arrive at the barn. "Alright!" Applejack yells inside the barn, "Whoever's in there, ya better come out now or things are gonna get ugly!" Moments later, a voice mutters, "Ok." The barn door opened, and there stood the weirdest creature that Applejack had ever seen. The creature just stood there looking confused as well.

I open the barn door, and there in front of me were three horses staring at me with a mixture of horror and confusion in their eyes. A crimson furred stallion wearing a yoke, an orange furred mare wearing a cowboy hat, and a yellow furred filly wearing a bright red bow. I walk over to them slowly as to not frighten them. I stop 2 feet short of the crimson stallion. I look him over, inspecting the yoke, the fur color, and the mark on his left flank. The mark doesn't look like a branding mark. I softly rub my hand on the mark, which looks like half an apple.

Macintosh shouts, "Hey, don't touch me there!" The…thing, backs up in shock and looks around. It stares at Big Macintosh, and spoke. "Did you say something?" Macintosh angrily says, "Eeyup." The thing gasps, "Sweet mercy!"  "Now you lisen' here ya strange…creature…thing," Applejack yelled, "Ya better start explaining what you were doin' in mah barn, or Celestia help me, I will buck you into last harvesting season."
